Here is a quick "cheat sheet" for the types of artwork I create. Story and Content is what I make the artwork about. Mediums and Grounds are what I make the artwork with.

Story and Content
Thematic Landscape - farmscape, rockscape, real places, recurring narrative symbol such as farmhouse, tankhouse, tree, etc.

Varo's World - reinterpretation of the surrealist works by female artists Remedios Varo, Leonora Carrington, and others.

Surrealism - distinct irrational juxtaposition of representational and narrative features, dreams.

Magic Realism - like surrealism but with a strong emphasis on the narrative or connective quality of representational features.

Mediums and Grounds
Painting - oil, acrylic on linen, panel or paper, with gilding.

Drawing - charcoal, pastel, silverpoint on paper or gessoed paper.

Printing - monotype in color, black & white, on paper, hand painted. Etching in single color on paper, hand painted.

Sculpture and 3D - heat hardened model clay, furniture, hand painted.
